Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer born on April 6, 1983, superior identified by her theater name Priyamani. She is an Indian film actress and model who has acted in more then in few Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam speaking movies. She is better known for earning a National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the 2006 Tamil film Paruthi Veeran directed by Ameer Sultan. She is the cousin of Bollywood actress Vidya Balan who are best actresses in Indian films.

Priyamani was born on June 4, 1983 in a Tamil Iyer family, to Vausdev Mani Iyer and Latha Mani Iyer in Palakkad, Kerala. She grow up and school in Bangalore, Karnataka. As a consequence of her energetic experience in different South Indian states, she speaks Tamil,Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu.
